Most of our deliveries are sent with Parcel Force on a next working day basis on orders placed before 3pm, you would be advised at the point of order if the carriage time is different as some larger products go on a 48 hour carrier service and deliveries to the highland and offshores will have delivery times stated at the order point. We choose to use Parcel Force who are just about the most expensive carriers in the UK purely based on their performance of delivery as week after week they maintain 99%+ deliveries on time.
WHAT IF MY ORDER DOESN'T ARRIVE WITHIN THE TIME STATED?
There are so many factors involved in next day deliveries there is no possible way of guaranteeing the delivery on time but as stated earlier we do get a 99%+ delivered on time service. There are two main reasons deliveries fail, one is the item is misrouted and sent to the wrong part of the country and the other is nobody is available at the delivery address to accept the order so please take this into account when placing an order. If your delivery fails to reach you on the expected date we will contact the carriers and do what is required to get that to you as fast as possible but please understand something are out of our control. In the interest of all involved if you live in a remote of off the main track address please consider an alternative delivery address, it’s not ideal but a true fact that carrier drivers are put under unreasonable pressure and simply (rightly or wrongly) do not have the time to search for difficult to find address so they get missed (Our carriers are no different to any other, we just tell you the truth on how this works).
On all orders on the day of dispatch you will be emailed a carrier link with the relevant tracking numbers to follow the progress of your order, please try and ensure someone would be available to accept and sign for the delivery or leave a signed visible note giving clear instructions of a SAFE place to leave the order, this will be left at your responsibility.
So important when you look at what you are signing for, we are often guilty of not taking the time to clearly look at what we are signing. When the carriers deliver they generally thrust an electronic pad at you which is so unreadable it’s useless but be AWARE you are signing for the delivery in good condition. Any damage or shortage must be advised within 48 hours of receipt.
What we ask is please work with the carriers and us as we are all looking for the same result, a fast and efficient delivery so please take some of the above into consideration.
