Genuine Flettner Vent

The Flettner TCX-2 roof vent is quite simple the World’s most advanced wind-powered roof ventilator.

When Flettner designed the TCX-2, they made sure that it couldn’t be imitated. A range of patents and design registrations mean that you will not find another vent like the Flettner TCX-2. It has been designed to maximise rotational efficiency and torque. This makes the TCX-2 an incredibly powerful roof vent with extraction figures which are almost twice those of the Flettner 2000. These high extraction rates make this a perfect roof vent for larger vans.

Featuring an integral air concentrator and an super-efficient centrifugal fan, the Flettner TCX-2 isn’t just a power house of a roof vent. It’s also simpler to fit than many other roof vents. Everything you need is included with the TCX-2 – integral bolt fixing, fitting instructions and template, gasket and shutter.

For vehicles which have an inner lining, a Flettner TCX-2 adapter is available to bridge the gap between the outer skin and the inner lining.

Fitting The Flettner TCX2 To Ribbed Roofs

The Flettner TCX-2 with a standard base can be fitted to vehicles with ribbed roofs provided that the gap between each rib is at least 145mm / 5.75”, and that the position chosen will permit the clamp plate and shutter to sit flush with the underside of the roof. An alternative model, the Flettner TCX-2 with a narrow base option, can be fitted to roofs where the gap between ribs is as small as 108mm / 4.25”.
