How Flettner roof vent technology works

Flettner vents use very simple, but highly effective technology. The ventilator rotor spins by using passing wind energy. This happens either whilst the vehicle is in motion or parked (as long as there is wind).
The spinning rotor has special extraction blades that suck are out of the cargo area of the van through an internal shutter. The internal shutter can be set manually to an open or closed position.
